Welcome to the MidCoast Junior Golf Association!

We are pleased to introduce you to our site as we enter our 18th year of service to junior golfers in the midcoast region of Maine. Our 2009 season is quickly approaching and we encourage you to browse our site and view our 2009 Calendar of Events and Tournaments which is now available! In 2008 we were proud to support over 90 junior golfers in their desire to learn the game of golf! This is an outstanding response to our tournament and clinic formats as well as our participating golf clubs and their golf professionals. We believe golf offers not only a valuable athletic experience for young people, but also training in the disciplines of self control, self-reliance, strategy, manners and etiquette. These are life skills which we believe are invaluable. And golf is fun! We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to help juniors get involved in golf. We have resources available to help with access, equipment and instruction and encourage you to contact us if you would like this assistance.
